Hello! Um, I don't remember if we've met, so I'm sorry, b-but my name is Midorikawa Retasu and, um... y-you're a magical girl, right? And everybody knows that you're very strong, right?
Um... w-well, in my world I suppose you could say that I'm strong, but compared to my friends on the community I'm weak and useless. A-and I want to be useful, so...
You want to become stronger. [It's a simple statement, and Mami pauses for a moment. To take a drink of her tea, not that Retasu would know that.] Am I correct?
Y-yes! I mean, if you can just tell me what I need to do to be able to keep up, that would be nice. The last person who tried to help me actually didn't want to help at all. He just wanted me to be his servant and destroy everything. But you seem to be a nice person and I'm sure that just learning how to fight better can't do anything bad.
I suppose I could teach you how to fight more effeciently. I can't give you any more power but I'll admit this: I'm not the strongest magical girl from my world. The only reason I've lasted this long is from skill and experience. Raw power might be nice but if you have patience, you can become strong without it.
[There's always someone better. Stronger, kinder, more suitable for this sort of thing. Mami pauses, listens. Nodding to herself while Retasu speaks. There's another pause as she drinks more tea.]
Very well. I'll teach you some of what I know--what you do with that knowledge is up to you.
