It's not something that I often consider but I do wonder if it's really possible to move to another world. To start a new life. I've heard that other people have done it yet I doubt it'd be that easy.

How irresponsible of me, really. I'm not a person that could just move up and leave so easily... Mm, I wonder.

One more thing. It's not much but I have information. Strategies. I've kept records of my fights with the witches; how to expand one's magical knowledge. I've kept these notebooks since I started out. It may not be much but Kure-san and you might find them useful. I can make copies.

No, Tomoe, a Puella Magi has no obligations. They were deceived under false pretences. They have only the things they chose to do; it would be wrong to blame anyone for the paths they take under these conditions. Only the Incubators should be held accountable.

In my own case, I would have died without my contract. Even without that, I would have died to the curse of Kaname Madoka. I am fighting because I do not wish to see this world end, not for any sense of duty. It is my own decision.

I understand. My own contract came about due to--ah--similiar circumstances. In the past I fought because I felt that it was my duty, that it was the only thing I could do. I probably would have become a Witch myself if I didn't have that conviction.

Either way, as long as girls are fighting and keeping other girls from becoming Witches--then that's a good thing.

We will do what we can.

Yes, Tomoe, we are still human. Even like this. [admittedly from they way she says it, she does not have a lot of faith in the sanctity of being human; it's more of an objective assessment]

We can cry, we can be sad, we can have hope and we can fall to despair. We can try, we can make mistakes and we can succeed. We are still entirely human. What has changed is only our circumstances.

It seems you have a greater will than I ever had. Let's hope that you never run out of that conviction.
